Durban born, Andile Phewa is a Documentary photographer who trained at The Market Photo Workshop in Johannesburg.
Andile developed his eye and photography style documenting urban street style and fashion. He is currently based in Cape Town as he seeks to expand his horizons as a creative and dive into directing TV Commercials. His ability to tell stories and capture contemporary youth culture has allowed him to work with noteworthy brands such as Truworths, Edgars, Superbalist, Superdry, Levi’s, Apple Music, Rain, KFC and MTN just to name a few. In 2016 Andile’s work was selected for inclusion in the Radio Africa group exhibition in Barcelona.
