With a background in fine art and photography, Gabrielle Kannemeyer’s styling and art direction are characterized by an artful layering of colours, textures and perfectly paired seemingly incongruous styles. With a keen finger on the pulse of youth cultural trends, Gabrielle’s work pushes the boundaries and bring the art of styling to the fore. Her work has been featured in local and international publications including i-D, Dazed, Flaunt (US) and Fucking Young! (Spain), and she has cast, art directed and styled campaigns for brands such as G-Star RAW, Adidas, Adriaan Kuiters, Simon and Mary and Lukhanyo Mdingi amongst others. Gabrielle has worked in ad agencies and designed and styled wardrobes for videos by Spoek Mathambo.
